Born in Petaluma California, farm country, previous Chicken Capital of the World.   Both grandparents had hatcheries. First job at age 13, working on a chicken ranch of course.

Birthplace for Greg White

Petaluma - Chicken Capital of the World

Flew through UC Berkeley obtaining an EECS undergrad degree.  Elected to bypass engineering job offers and followed his gut into sales with Hewlett Packard, Apollo and Sun Microsystems.  Extensive training in consultative selling.  Exemplary 13 year sales record.

Entrepreneurial Efforts

Founding CEO for TriTeal with two other co-founders.  Lead early business development and strategic planning efforts. Rocket ship ride to IPO, but failed on unstable revenue base and misaligned technology strategy.

Went on to found and serve as CEO for Kablink, the first “Visual Communications” (photo sharing) site on the web.  Perhaps a bit early, perhaps a bit too ambitious of an undertaking.  More strategic planning likely resulting in a simpler vision might have proven magical (aka Facebook).

More Recent

Applying core skills within a number of consulting and targeted engagements.   Highlights include:

  • Early sales turn around assistance for DriveCam, resulting in new sales leadership and customer centric programs
  • Assisted Gianni Wireless with $15M term sheet acquisition
  • Strategic Partnership and business development for Kreiss Johnson (early smart grid technology company)
  • Turnaround CEO for Air-Trak (GPS workforce tracking) , featurning Sprint Nextel partership acquistion and roleout

  • GPS tracking strategy development for DriveCam
  • Sales turnaround – interim management for SiteTuners (conversion optimization), resulting in 750 new client over 36 months
  • Sales strategy- sales management for Zementis (predictive analytics, underway)

Personal

  • Love sailing. Owned a beautiful 38′ sloop “Downtime” for ten years.  7,500 miles on southern California waters with friends
  • Daughter just graduated from high school, off to Cal Poly this fall.  Success!
  • Tone deaf, can’t sing, follow a rhythm, or dance.  Good, got that out of the way.
  • Spelling so bad, spell checkers don’t recognize the words.
  • Teaching myself woodworking using combinations of new and antique tools.  Friends love their holiday gifts!
  • Often use my full name, Gregory Jay White, to avoid confusion with other successful and or notorious Greg White celebrities.

Hi Greg

We probably met at SES or Adtech sometime ago

I’m the CEO of Matrix, we are launching a new product, Leadzer, which provides self-serve lead generation solutions for publishers and affiliates, helping them to drive high-quality visitors to their merchants’ websites, improve conversion rates and measure results in real-time

Leadzer is a cloud-based service, with no IT, SEO or HTML knowledge required. Instant setup, with no software to install.

I would like to have a brief conversation with you and see how we can collaborate

thanks and have a great day

Carles
