Sales Administrator Job Description
SiteTuners.com – an online marketing services firm, is looking for a sales support person to help manage and accelerate sales growth.
JOB SUMMARY:
Assist in administering all duties and projects that come under the responsibility of the SiteTuners sales and business development departments. Work location – San Diego.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Phone Responsibilities – Handles all inbound phone calls and initial data capture of phone sales leads into salesforce.com. Routes caller to appropriate sales contact. If not immediately available schedules conference call time with prospective client.
2. Website Leads – Manages process of cultivating inbound website leads into phone appointments for the sales team, via both email and phone call scheduling techniques. Documents source of inbound leads in Salesforce.com
3. Tradeshow Leads – Processes tradeshow leads – entry into salesforce.com, LinkedIn and Facebook social networks. Sends out initial follow-up emails and cultivates into leads for the sales team.
4. Email Supervision – Watches sales emails for appointment scheduling opportunities and handles scheduling process.
5. Travel Planning – Coordinates travel plans, including booking air, hotel, and vehicle reservations.
6. Email Templates – Maintains and developed Salesforce.com auto response emails.
7. Referral Management – Tracks and manages client referrals by logging data into salesforce.com
8. Sales Forecasts – Assists with updating of sales forecast information.
9. Client Database - Exports salesforce.com client data into Vertical Response for company mailings
10. Event Follow-up – Develops Vertical Response email templates for post event follow-up.
11. Data Integrity Management – Ensures ongoing integrity of SalesForce.com client records through constant updating
12. Team Coordination – Coordinates transfer of sales information and contact data to operations functions. Tracks closed sales and coordinates with Finance to ensure integrity of company data
13. Marketing Materials – Assists with updating of sales managed marketing materials
14. Sales Event Logistics – Handles logistics for client meetings, such as lunch reservations, etc
15. Sales Meetings -Coordinates initial consulting meetings with clients
16. Order Processing – Assists finance with credit card payment processing from new clients
17. Client Follow-up – Performs routine email based follow-up post SiteTuners consulting activities
18. Materials Forwarding – Handles daily shipping of marketing materials which may require driving to and from postal facilities.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handles any other support duties needed by the Vice President of Sales or CEO of SiteTuners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Associate degree in business.
2. Personable, positive, and people-friendly demeanor.
3. Former sales administration experience desired.
4. Well organized individual who can administer functions in absence of supervisor.
5. Adept at using sales tools such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Google Docs, SalesForce.com, Vertical Response and Linkedin.
6. Experience with online marketing a plus.
